INSPIRE Appreciated
Just wanted to say that this site is helpful for me as a student and preschool teacher. I hope that the library will provide INSPIRE to the patrons as it is truly appreciated.

INSPIRE Is a Great Resource
I not only use INSPIRE personally, but I also encourage students to use it while researching for both class and the speech team. It is a great resource. I would hate to see the funding cut.

INSPIRE Is Essential
INSPIRE is essential to the College Composition class that we offer as part of the ACP (Advanced College Project from Indiana University) where students can receive high school and college credit. If that service is no longer available, the school system will have to provide another resource for those students to access academic peridoicals if they are going to offer the class. I also use the service for research in other classes -- especially 10th grade English. Not every student uses it but INSPIRE is essential for those 10th graders who have more academic topics.

INSPIRE for Online Research
I used the EBSCO database recently for a project I did for my Ball State class. Also, my daughter was home and was working on her homework for a class at Franklin College. I directed her to the EBSCO database and she found just what she was looking for! MANY teachers have continuing ed. classes to attend, MANY teachers are working on their Master's Degree, and MANY students in colleges are going to be our future teachers. With everyone being so busy, it is nearly impossible to go to a public library during the operational hours to do research. If a survey were taken, I believe it would reveal that MANY people do online research very late at night and during the "wee hours" of the morning. When continuing education is required for many business people as well as educators, many people can find the INSPIRE database a useful resource.
