INSPIRE Used to Identify Trees
I have always found INSPIRE to be such a great resource for assisting patrons in their research, so I wasn’t surprised when I found it to be helpful to me and my husband. While on a hike we noticed a tree with strange fruit that my husband said as a child they called a Cigar Tree. Once home, I went to INSPIRE, used the "What Tree Is It" database and in less than 2 minutes knew we had seen a Catalpa tree.

Great Staff at Dearborn Branch Library
Libraries are the best! I only wish that every librarian could be as pleasant as Lorrie, Rachel, and Criss at the North Dearborn Branch Library. They are never too busy to answer a question, and always are eager to please their patrons. Everyone should take customer service lessons from NDL!!!! Thanks, guys!

Great Resource
INSPIRE is a helpful tool on many levels. Its databases help students with keyword searches to find the information they need to complete their research assignments. The biography database is helpful to find information on well known personalities by birth date, nationality, or gender. The kid's database is designed to help younger children find fun facts they are interested in learning about. INSPIRE is a great resource for any library large or small.

Library Is Important Part of My Life
The library has always been a part of my life. I attended storytimes as a child, was involved in summer reading programs, worked in school libraries as a student and then at my hometown public library during the summers of college. I then came back to work at a public library after five years at an insurance company in accounting. With the encouragement of two of the library directors that I worked under, I have just finished the first semester of library school in pursuit of an MLS degree. So the library will continue to be an important part of my life, as well as my children's lives.

It is truly gratifying how efficiently we can help patrons from young children through senior citizens get information they need or want using the INSPIRE Website.

Wonderful
INSPIRE has given me the resources I need to provide information to teachers working on their graduate degrees. Before INSPIRE, Interlibrary Loan was my salvation, but now they can have it all without driving to their university libraries for the information they need. The Academic Search Database is wonderful.
