Clark County

A Fine Library
I wish to put in my opinion of this fine little Library that I use probably as much as anyone of your members.
I use the Interlibrary Loan System a great deal. I use the Indiana Room to trace my family after I tracking them to Clark County.
For years, I have attended the Clark Grant Historical Society in the library meeting room, which has a wonderful old map of all the numbered Grants and pictures of the old
Rose Island Resort. I look for used books in the lobby to find a choice book that has been put for sale.
I started using the Internet at the Library before I owned my own computer several years ago. The staff were helpful in answering my questions and so friendly. They call me by my first name when I arrive.
When Pres. Jim Michael of Ancient Kentucke Historical
Assn. was trying to find a suitable place to put the
Brandenburg Stone, Librarian Tamsie Meurer was very
glad to display it at Charlestown Library.
I love this small Library, which is makes it easy to find
needed materials, especially with their new on-line catalog.

Library Has A Lot to Offer
I am a work study student at the Ogle Virtual Library of Ivy Tech in Sellersburg. Our Library has a lot to offer our diverse community of students. Our Website has been made available to our students here in the library and from their homes. At our Web home page we offer many accredited research sites and search engines. We have alot of nursing students that depend on the services that we offer.
